Community Advisory Committee (CAC)

Want to help improve HPSM? Then join the CAC!

The CAC is now accepting applications from HPSM members who would like to join the Committee. Benefits of being on the CAC include:

• Having your voice heard on important health care issues that affect all HPSM members
• Giving back to the community by helping HPSM improve our services and programs
• Free lunch and a stipend for attending four meetings a year at HPSM's South San Francisco office (for details, scroll down to the "Meeting Schedule" section below)
  

What the CAC does

• Review HPSM policies
• Advise the Health Commission on how HPSM can best serve its members
• Discuss issues affecting HPSM members, such as:
  • Call center performance
  • Member complaint trends
  • Provider network development
  • Updates from HPSM's Chief Executive Officer & Chief Medical Officer
  • New programs we’re launching
    

To apply:

Email the following information to CustomerSupport@hpsm.org:

• Your name and date of birth (or your HPSM member ID number)
• What HPSM program you belong to (Medi-Cal, CareAdvantage, HealthWorx, or ACE)
• A brief explanation of why you would like to join the CAC

Membership

The Community Advisory Committee represents a wide range of stakeholders: HPSM members (and their family members), consumer advocates and representatives from San Mateo County community-based organizations.
