Stay Enrolled in Medi-Cal

Eligibility for all Medi-Cal members extended until further notice

On March 17th, 2020, California Governor Newsom signed an executive order to delay Medi-Cal annual renewals and Medi-Cal terminations for 90 days. That means all Medi-Cal members will remain eligible for Medi-Cal until further notice. 

The County of San Mateo Human Services Agency (HSA) will continue to process new Medi-Cal applications so that people can get Medi-Cal coverage. The HSA will also process Medi-Cal renewals so people can stay on Medi-Cal.  

If you have questions about applying for Medi-Cal or keeping your current Medi-Cal coverage, call the HSA at 1-800-223-8383. Medi-Cal staff will fill out a self-attestation form for you while you are on the telephone.
