HPSM’s vision that “healthy is for everyone” is rooted in respect for and dedicated service to San Mateo County’s richly diverse population. Our goal is to ensure that every person we cover has equal access to quality health care.
We know that having a diverse and inclusive workforce makes HPSM a better partner in the communities we serve and a better place to work. For this reason we view our health equity efforts as closely connected to employee diversity and inclusion.
As learners in these spaces, we look for opportunities to partner with plan members and community organizations to improve our work. Where we have resources or expertise to contribute, we offer leadership, data, and support. HPSM is committed to promoting health equity in whatever way we can.
