Interpreter Services
The shared ability to communicate is critical to a patient-centered approach to healthcare. HPSM offers no-cost language interpreter services that providers can instantly access by telephone and video 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our vendor, Certified Languages International (CLI), has professional interpreters who can communicate in over 230 languages (including American Sign Language).
Using these services helps providers deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate care to HPSM’s members with limited English proficiency or sensory impairment while meeting regulatory requirements. Members may also request these services when interacting with HPSM providers or staff.
Instructions for using language interpretation services and our other language resources can be found here. If you need additional information, email interpreters@hpsm.org.
