Culturally Inclusive Care
Culturally inclusive care is much more than ensuring equal access to health care and treating everyone equally. To truly deliver culturally inclusive health care, providers must work to understand their own implicit biases and use a patient-centered approach. Listening closely to patients and understanding the role that culture, race, and identity may play in accessing healthcare can improve both the health care experience and clinical outcomes.
