Fill Your Prescriptions for 90 Days
Filling a prescription for 90 days makes sense, especially if medicine is taken regularly for conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol.
- Save time: Getting a 90-day supply of medicine means fewer trips to the pharmacy. You would only need to visit the pharmacy four times a year instead of every month. That’s 8 fewer visits to the pharmacy per year!
- Save money: If you pay a prescription copay, a 90-day supply costs the same as a 30-day supply. This means your $4.30 copay could get you a 90-day supply of medicine — or 60 extra days at no extra cost. That’s up to $34.40 in savings per year!
Getting a 90-day supply of medicine is easy — here's how:
1. Ask an HPSM network pharmacy or your healthcare provider
- A pharmacy can get you up to a 90-day supply even if your prescription is only for 30 days. All you need is enough refills and to have taken the medicine before.
- Your healthcare provider can write your prescription to the pharmacy for a 90-day supply.
2. Fill and pick up your prescription at an HPSM network pharmacy.
Get no-cost home delivery using HPSM’s new mail-order pharmacy through Postal Prescription Services (PPSRX).
