Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS)

HEDIS is a standardized set of performance measures developed by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) to evaluate consumer health care. Medical record collection for HEDIS begins in February every year. You may be contacted by HPSM's certified vendor, Change Healthcare, to have a Medical Records Technician (MRT) visit your office to collect requested charts. If you are, please schedule an appointment as early as possible to avoid the rush and ensure your staff has time to prepare the records. This will help HPSM submit all HEDIS records by the deadline that NCQA sets in April every year.
