Signs of extremely low blood sugar
If you or a family member has the following symptoms, call 9-1-1 or go to an emergency room right away.
- Confusion
- Dizziness
- Double vision
- Tiredness
- Headache
- Weakness
- Loss of coordination
- Convulsions
- Passing out
Signs of ketoacidosis
Ketoacidosis is a life-threatening complication of diabetes. If you are diabetic or are worried about diabetes and have the following symptoms, call 9-1-1 or go to an emergency room right away.
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea
- Deep, rapid breathing
- Sweet-smelling breath
- Double vision
- Increased thirst
