Asthma

Asthma is a disease in which a person’s airways swell, making it hard to breathe. Asthma can cause episodes of wheezing, chest tightness, coughing and other problems. People with asthma most often have problems when they are exposed to asthma “triggers”. Common triggers are dust, mold, smoke, and allergies, but keep in mind that different people can have different triggers. When asthma flares up, it can cause an asthma attack, which can be dangerous and even deadly in extreme cases. So, if you or someone you love has asthma, it is vital that you learn what your and their triggers are and how to control symptoms to prevent attacks.
