Phone numbers listed in HPSM’s Enhanced Care Management Notice are wrong: DO NOT CALL THEM

HPSM’s recent CalAIM notice to members about Enhanced Care Management (ECM) listed two wrong phone numbers for Member Services. DO NOT call these incorrect phone numbers. Information about these incorrect phone numbers is below. To contact Member Services, call these phone numbers:

Information about the incorrect phone numbers

1) The general number for Member Services was incorrectly listed as 1-800-750-4775 instead of 1-800-750-4776

The incorrect phone number is for a company Life Protect that sells a medic-alert system. HPSM members are NOT eligible for a free medic-alert system. Do not sign up for this service. You will be charged for it, and HPSM will NOT cover it.

2) The TTY number was incorrectly listed as 1-800-735-3939 instead of 1-800-735-2929

The incorrect number is for a company called Edward Jones Investments.
