Telemedicine
Doctor’s visits by phone or video anytime

Many providers can give you advice over the phone or see you by video. Call your doctor and ask if they provide telephone or video visits. This service is fully covered by HPSM and can help protect you and others from being exposed to viruses. If you need a language interpreter, your doctor can get a phone or video interpreter for both in-person and telemedicine visits. This includes video interpreters for American Sign Language (ASL) assistance.

Note: not all appointments can be completed by phone because your doctor may need to exam you in person. Your doctor will tell you if your needs can be met by a phone or video visit.
